The witness dropped a companion at a nearby farmhouse and drove to a barn on a hunting property in the morning. From the barn, the witness saw a tall black upright figure on the far crest of a field that stepped left, paused, then moved out of sight within about 15 seconds. The legs were not visible and no binoculars were available, but the witness said it moved like a person and was none of the common local animals.

The witness, a truck driver hauling oil, was driving north over a bridge in daylight when he looked down at railroad tracks and saw a large hair-covered figure standing in the middle of the tracks looking uphill. The sighting lasted about 1.5 seconds as he passed at 55 mph, and he tried unsuccessfully to get another driver on the CB to confirm it. He later compared its height to oil railcars and estimated it at no less than 9 feet tall.

The witness was snowmobiling with two companions to dig out a stuck snowmobile when they rested in a valley meadow. He spotted a very large dark figure standing about 200 yards away behind a sparse grove of trees and called a companion over, and both watched it for over a minute. The figure remained still and faced them before they left, and it was gone when they returned hours later with no tracks or further interaction observed.

The witness was sitting in his truck overnight at a wooded construction site monitoring a generator. He heard bipedal footsteps pacing in the leaves and a loud bang on a tank that he believed was a thrown rock. A tall figure stepped to the edge of the woods beside the truck, turned to face him, then walked back into the woods. He turned headlights toward the woods but saw nothing further.

The witness and the witness's wife were driving west on Upper Hoh Road after visiting the Hoh Rain Forest. Near the Hoh River they watched a tall, dark-haired biped emerge from woods on the north side, cross the road in three strides, and disappear into woods on the south side. They stopped at the crossing spot and noted dense forest with no trail.

The figure crossed from west to east about 30 feet ahead and continued up the opposite hill within about three to four seconds. The sounds lasted about 30 minutes and included growling, hollering, and breaking limbs as the animals moved toward him. When they reached a clearing he lit them with a spotlight, saw two tall lean hairy bipeds, and watched them sprint uphill into the forest. He then left the area and says he will not return alone.

The witness was driving slowly on a rural road late at night after dropping off a relative. After braking for a rabbit, the witness reported seeing a tall ape-like figure running on two legs toward the vehicle. The witness accelerated away while the figure continued advancing toward the vehicle.

Late at night in fall 2010, the witness was at home when barking dogs prompted an investigation and a large dark figure was seen crossing the pasture toward the barn. The witness got a firearm, stepped outside, fired a warning shot and then multiple shots as the figure ran through wire fencing and disappeared into corn behind the house while a dog chased. The shots did not appear to slow it.

During an overnight fishing trip the witness and his girlfriend were sleeping in a parked vehicle near a cabin when they noticed a tall hair-covered figure standing at the tree line and two smaller crouched figures near a truck. After alerting a companion in the cabin, the witness started the vehicle to shine lights on the figures, which then fled into the trees. A companion reported something running across the road as they drove, and later the group heard commotion near the lake.

Two boys were playing near a creek valley across from a house and waded into the water after hearing movement in the brush. One of them noticed a large very dark brown monkey- or gorilla-like creature watching them from behind bushes on the far bank. After staring for what seemed a minute, both fled uphill and watched it moving through the brush in an upright walk.

After hearing a loud crash in brush, they ran about half a mile while hearing something running behind them. They crossed a pasture gate, stopped, and watched a large hairy bipedal figure by the gate for about 30 seconds before it turned and walked away.

The figure was described as taller than the witness and black all over with a hump on its back. Afterward the witness left quickly and learned a hunting companion nearby had heard movement but seen nothing, and checkout staff said no other hunters were in the area.

The witness was driving east in the early morning to go mushroom hunting when a large dark hairy animal crossed the road toward a cedar thicket. The animal was estimated at six feet tall, with heavy shoulders and a human-like walk with swinging arms, then hurried and ran into cover. The witness stopped with the engine off to listen, heard nothing, then continued on and avoided stopping at the crossing site on the way home.

He climbed a side hill and saw a still dark bear draped over a vine maple, then noticed a very large dark-brown biped standing about 50 feet away with its back turned. The creature turned and stared with red glowing eyes, prompting the witness to flee to his truck screaming, after which he refused to return to the woods and his crew left the area.
