While camping with a companion overlooking the river, the witness was handed binoculars to look at a treeline across the water. Through the binoculars the witness observed a tall, broad, reddish-brown hair-covered figure standing upright, moving branches, then turning its head, looking toward the camp, ducking, and running upright into the woods. The companion also watched the figure and confirmed it was moving.
Motorist has daytime sighting along the highway near Coles Corner
The witness and a companion were driving on a highway in the morning when they saw a tall, dark, hairy figure walking toward them on a bluff beside the road. As they got close they could see its face and body clearly, noting it wore no clothes and had a peaked head. It looked toward their car, then turned and walked into the woods up a bank. The two occupants confirmed with each other that they had seen what they called Bigfoot.

The witness, working as a snowplow driver at night, reported seeing a large shaggy figure standing on a train trestle over the highway in the headlights. The figure reportedly paused and turned to look at the plow, then was gone when the driver returned about ten minutes later.

The witness was riding a mountain bike alone on a trail northwest of Chelan in the morning. After rounding a bend, the witness saw a tall, dark-brown, long-haired bipedal animal running away through the forest for about 10-15 seconds. The witness stopped and then searched where it crossed, but found no clear tracks on the trail and no hair or broken vegetation.

While riding a tour boat that was dropping off firefighters, the witness saw a large dark figure walking on the shore near a creek mouth. The witness's wife also saw the figure and described it as orangutan-like but more upright. The witness photographed it as it walked back into the woods and later saw the figure when zooming in on the images.
Driver has road-cross sighting on Highway 2, north of Leavenworth
The witness was driving on Highway 2 when the car ahead stopped to avoid an animal crossing the road. The witness stopped behind that car and watched the animal from behind as it reached the left side of the road and walked into the bushes. The witness later concluded it was too tall and thin to have been a bear.

While hunting deer alone in the morning, the witness heard repeated sounds like logs or poles being thrown, then found a tree with bark removed, a large packed bed, a human-like track, and unfamiliar scat. After glimpsing brown fur duck behind a log, the witness heard an extremely loud low roar-like yell from behind with crashing, then heard crashing and throwing sounds staying out of sight while leaving for about 200 yards. No full animal was clearly seen.

A child playing a night game ran behind a maintenance shed and heard gravel move. About ten feet away, a huge dark figure crouched at chained garbage cans rose smoothly to stand very tall. The witness fled to tell adults, who suggested it was a bear or a person watching the children.

After hearing scream-like sounds earlier in the evening, the witness lay awake and watched a tall figure move behind a windbreak, squat to rummage through a pack, then stand and walk away.
