Daylight sighting by hunter 30 miles southeast of Louisville
The witness was sitting in a deer stand above a creek in heavily wooded bottomland waiting for deer. After smelling a musky odor and hearing leaves rustling behind the stand, the witness turned and saw a large dark-brown hairy biped across the creek about 60 yards away walking parallel to the water. The creature briefly turned its head toward the witness, continued swiftly with its arms swinging, and stayed in view for 10 to 15 seconds before moving away through trees.
Young men have encounter in wooded area while camping
Three young men were camping by a pond at night when they heard a loud moaning yell twice, followed by fast bipedal footsteps approaching. They turned on the truck's headlights and saw a six-foot-tall hair-covered creature with long arms about 20 yards away in a hollow. After watching for about 10 seconds, they fled in the truck.

The witness pulled over on a roadside near woods, a creek and a lake for night fishing and stepped a short distance into the woods. He heard heavy footsteps moving through leaves toward him that seemed bipedal and too heavy for a dog, and the sounds paused when he paused and then rushed as he reached his truck. After driving away, he saw a large dark upright figure standing in the road behind him in his rearview mirror.
