The witness was descending from Seneca Rocks on a shortcut and became lost in rough rocky terrain. They heard heavy footsteps and branches cracking, then saw the back of a tall orange-brown haired creature moving uphill about 30 yards away. The creature continued uphill quickly over rocks and disappeared, and the witness returned to the trail to tell family.

The witness braked and swerved to avoid a collision as it walked slowly across without hurrying, glancing back once before disappearing into woods by a lake. He also reported a strong elk-like odor. The companion ahead did not see the figure but noticed the witness was shaken afterward.

Late at night the witness was driving with a companion toward a fishing and camping area when furry upright beings appeared in the roadway in front of the vehicle. The witness saw two beings while the companion reported a third walking ahead, and the beings looked at the vehicle before diving headfirst into roadside brush. The sighting lasted only seconds, after which the witnesses decided not to camp.

The witness stopped at a trail entrance and watched a tall dark manlike creature scrape bark with its palms and pound a tree trunk with a fist. The creature paused and turned to look at the witness. The creature was walking on the road where they could not go around it or turn around, then stopped and turned to face them directly. The witnesses were described as being very frightened.

The witness was turkey hunting at dawn on a wet, still morning when he heard a rhythmic sound like footsteps approaching up a valley. A tall upright creature came into view about 50 yards away, stopped, stared at him, and crouched after he clicked off his shotgun safety before continuing on and disappearing. He did not shoot, then ran back to his truck. He later described a foul smell lingering after the encounter.

The creature ran across the two-lane road upright on two legs with arms swinging, crossing in a few strides. The witness estimated it at 4 to 5 feet tall and 150 to 200 pounds and said it did not match any known animal like bear, coyote, or fox.

On Feb. 1, 2007 while driving on Highway 60 past Vernon, the witness saw a bipedal creature running toward the road. It placed a hand on a fence T-post, vaulted over, crossed the two-lane road in a few strides, and continued into a narrow canyon out of sight. The witness pulled over but remained in the vehicle and did not look for tracks.
