He watched for about 10 to 12 seconds as a large, dark-brown, long-haired, man-like figure with long arms took large steps south toward a shelterbelt, glanced toward him, then moved faster and disappeared into the trees. He did not go to look for tracks in the snow because he was afraid.

After a brief look through a rifle scope noting human-like eyes and black facial skin, the witness smelled strong body odor and quickly left the area.
