Sasquatch sighting near Lander, Wyoming (2010)
While staying about a week to help move his elderly grandmother, the 11-year-old guest rode a mountain bike daily on wide trails toward the national forest and often felt watched. One day the woods went quiet and he heard childlike playing shift to indistinct murmuring, then heavy bipedal footsteps approaching through brush. A roughly nine-foot, black-haired, barrel-chested male stepped onto the trail about 30 yards away, made rapid mouth-popping clicks answered from the brush, then growled and changed expression when the witness turned his bike. A second taller individual stood up in the brush showing chest and head, the witness rode about two and a half miles home, and family members dismissed the report as a bear.
Bear hunter has sighting while approaching bait site
The witness and a companion were resupplying a bear bait site on foot when they heard branches breaking upslope and saw a piece of tree fall. About 400 yards away on a ledge they saw a tall dark bipedal figure leaning against a broken tree. The witness watched it for 15-20 seconds before it stepped quickly into the treeline, and noticed a rancid odor near the bait site.
Day hiker sees large, hairy animal which seems to follow him
The witness pulled off a highway west of Cody in late afternoon to hike north through timber and rocky outcrops. Over about an hour the witness heard rocks rolling, brush breaking and movement that seemed to follow and stop with them. While returning toward the road the witness turned to see an upright, brown, long-haired animal about 60-70 yards away that immediately leapt into dense timber. The witness was uncertain whether the sounds and sighting involved the same animal and noted a bear as a possible alternative, only later considering Bigfoot after finding a website.
Party of five campers observe 7 foot creature outside their RV
Five people sleeping in an RV in a campground awoke when the dog barked and saw a large hairy figure about 10 feet away. The figure looked toward the RV then left with a human-like jog in long strides amid grunting sounds and a strong odor. The next morning the group found huge footprints outside.
Sasquatch sighting near Jackson, Wyoming (1989)
The witness describes riding horses with a friend for several days and stopping at a spring. He walked to a cliff after smelling a strong odor and saw a huge hairy human-like figure. He spoke to it, heard it grunt and growl, heard a distant whoop and a loud tongue-pop like a wood knock, then watched it climb the cliff with its arms and disappear.

On a later return to replenish the bait site, the witness noticed the same rancid smell throughout the area.
