They found a large twisted heel-weighted impression in soft wet ground much larger than the guest's boot.

Separately the witness listened with a parabolic dish hearing limb snapping, brush movement, and metallic banging as if the cabin area was being torn apart.

Several large mesquite trees were shaken from the base at once while he felt rumbling pressure in his chest. He kicked to shore, abandoned his gear in waders, and drove out through brush.

While working as a contractor clearing brush around cabins after dark, the guest repeatedly felt watched while carrying water from a creek. He smelled a strong musky odor from upstream that later stopped, then heard a loud snap across the road and a second larger snap minutes later without hearing movement. He stayed to ensure the fire was out, then left and texted a local researcher friend.
