The guest spent about a week at a Kentucky property where others reported semi-habituated animals. Midweek, from a house, he observed an upright figure partly hidden in a fencerow rocking side to side, seeing a shoulder and head-like shape. When a resident approached with food, the figure turned and walked into the forest, swinging a large arm backward.

While walking below a brushy shelf, he heard grunting and growling from the tree line and observed trees being shaken. Around midnight they heard a huge splash as something jumped into deep water and waded across toward them with bipedal splashes. It stopped at the bank in darkness for a long silent period, then circled the camp staying just beyond firelight before leaving up the hillside. They waited until sunrise without sleep and hiked out without checking for tracks.

They heard cackling, yelping, growling and moaning sounds and found the trail blocked by a large uprooted stump with placed boulders and smashed trees. Two upright figures, one black and one light brown and hairy, were seen moving parallel to the group and leaping down a cliff, while the group felt stalked and watched as they hurried out to the road.

After climbing down to investigate, he smelled strong body odor, heard tapping and vocal sounds coming from two directions, and had acorn-like objects thrown at him. He then briefly saw a large dark figure watching him from cover before fleeing the area and never returning.

Around 2:30 a.m. on a clear night, the witness was walking home along a road paralleling a river when a strong bad odor and a loud splash drew attention to the water. About 60 feet away, a large, broad-shouldered, dark, long-haired figure stood upright in the river and appeared to be fishing, moving, splashing, and pausing to look around. The witness watched for several minutes while continuing down the road before leaving the area.

The witness and three companions took a late-night winter walk on game and recreational trails in the woods. On the way back they heard footsteps and branches breaking around them and something repeatedly threw snow or hard snow clods at them, while dogs barked nearby and a rank carcass-like odor was noticed. They jogged most of the way out, leaving around 3-3:30 a.m., and the witness believed deep snow ruled out a prank by a person.

The witness and figure observed each other while the dog wanted to go inside and a strong foul smell was present. Two coworkers were pumping feed into silos on a turkey farm after midnight. One smelled an unfamiliar odor and shone a spotlight, spotting an animal behind a barn picking objects from the ground and blocking the light with its hand. He alerted his coworker, who also shone his light, saw the large creature walking toward him, then retreated to the front of the farm.

In September 2003 the witness and a hunting partner were coon hunting at night in a cornfield in Ohio with two hounds. The dogs went silent and their radio trackers gave no signal, then something large circled the men in the corn with audible running and heavy breathing. A large amount of foul-smelling clear slime splattered onto the partner, and the men retreated to the truck to find both dogs cowering underneath, unwilling to load.

The husband heard brush movement across a ditch and then saw a hair-covered figure from the chest up watching them from 20 to 30 feet away. After watching for several minutes, the couple slowly left uphill while the figure continued to observe, and the wife also saw it as they left.
