In the afternoon after swimming, the witness ran ahead of the group on a winding trail back toward the campsite. Stopped by a strong foul odor, the witness noticed a large dark furry creature sitting among berry bushes a short distance away. The creature stayed motionless and made a quiet chattering sound, after which the witness ran away while hearing it crash away through the trees. No one else in the group saw or heard the creature.

A large hairy bipedal female emerged from the tree line, waded to him, lifted him by his jacket, carried him back to the roadside ditch, and left. The witness stopped to pick wild raspberries while walking back alone on a farm trail. He heard a low grunt and large movement in the patch, then ran down the trail while something crashed through the woods alongside him. The movement stopped when he stopped and resumed when he ran, and he did not see the source.

While hunting from a tree stand shortly after sunrise, the witness saw a frightened deer run by followed by two upright hairy figures. One figure came within about 15-20 feet, stared face-to-face at eye level for 10-15 seconds and emitted a deep growl before leaving. The witness fled toward a nearby farmhouse, fired a rifle shot overhead and shouted, while movement and noise paralleled him in the woods.

The witness was camping with family and climbed a hill with cousins, rolling rocks from the top. They heard crashing in aspens across a ravine and saw a tall, long-haired figure standing on two legs about 300 feet away watching them for several minutes. The witness and two companions took off from Andros Island for Florida and climbed through a small lenticular cloud that repeatedly overtook them. They entered a large horseshoe-shaped storm, flew through a circular tunnel that shrank around the plane, and emerged into gray fog with malfunctioning instruments. The flight landed in about 47 minutes, far faster than normal, which the witness describes as an 80-mile teleportation.

In July 1977 the witness was helping a relative fix fence on a hill behind the ranch around noon. He and the relative saw two tall pine trees sway inside the fence line and then heard a loud yelling uhhing sound. Nearby were several freshly gutted rabbits, a death-like smell, and unusually silent woods. He left to find a ranger station and returned with a ranger who photographed the site, after which both described themselves as becoming believers.
