Sasquatch sighting in Kentucky (1972)
Account
Guest age 7 and his grandfather saw a tall upright figure standing above the corn at the edge of the field in the evening and went inside. Later that night the guest woke to a strong odor and saw a dark hairy figure filling the bedroom window looking in, while his grandfather held a pistol. The figure moved to the front porch where the grandfather fired a shotgun through the screen door, after which it fled up the road vocalizing with screams and distant whoops.
