Camper experiences odd odors and sounds, feels presence

The witness was camping with family near the Elwah River and was sitting outside after others went to sleep when a rock struck the tent twice. The family moved to their car, and the witness later stood outside in darkness sensing a very tall man-like presence nearby, hearing breathing, footsteps and snapping twigs and smelling a musky foul odor. After headlights showed nothing, the odor and sense of unease lifted and the family returned to the tent for the night before breaking camp the next day.

A responding deputy examined the area the next day and reported indistinct impressions, small pushed-over trees and long uphill strides, but no blood or fur.
