Unseen visitor unnerves 3 friends with repeated stick throwing near North Bend
Three friends were sitting in their parked truck at a pull-out at night after leaving an earlier site. They heard movement in the surrounding brush and something repeatedly struck the truck. Each time they got out they found the same small stick by or in the truck, and one witness saw it fly out of the bushes onto the hood. Frightened, they drove away.
Angler finds tracks, hears knocks and senses ominous presence east of North Bend
The witness was scouting a tributary creek of the Middle Fork Snoqualmie for a place to fish when he found large fresh tracks on both sides of the water. He then smelled a foul odor, felt watched, and heard repeated loud knocking sounds while returning to his car. He hurried to his car where his wife was waiting and left the area, saying he has not returned alone since.

The animal turned toward them, stood upright on two legs, and maintained eye contact for about 10 to 15 seconds. The witness parked to hike a closed-area trail and heard loud, fast drumming sounds from two directions that could be felt as percussion. After smelling a strong unfamiliar musky odor, the witness heard and felt heavy footsteps moving rapidly through brush ahead and then across a second trail as if cutting them off. The witness fled cross-country back to the vehicle without ever seeing the source and heard the drumming again near the vehicle.

The witness and a companion fished in a restricted watershed and stayed late to leave under cover of darkness. While biking out on the service road they hit a strong rancid smell they could not source and both felt they were being watched in still, quiet conditions. They left without seeing anything and did not return.

Two companions driving home from fishing on a logging road saw a large hair-covered biped walking rapidly away. They stopped, watched it look back at them and disappear around a bend, then drove forward to see it again further down the road as it crossed into thick brush. After stopping, they heard brush rustling for about 20 seconds but could no longer see it.

The witness was exploring up a small feeder creek away from a campsite when a very strong foul smell was noticed and movement was heard ahead in the brush. A tall, very muscular, reddish-brown entity with huge shoulders and no apparent neck was seen walking about 50 feet away. The witness retreated toward camp, perceived the smell as moving with them and believed the animal kept pace and followed to the campsite, then left the mountain without packing up the tent.

While hunting with a companion, the witness smelled a strong animal odor and saw a large hairy figure crouching near a swamp. The figure stood to full height and was watched for several minutes, reacting nervously to movement and making vocal sounds. The pair fired into the road to scare it, and the creature then fled into the timber.

The witness was camping overnight at an alpine lake with a dog when a loud high-pitched scream shifting to a low roar was heard for a couple minutes very close to camp. The dog became agitated with raised hackles and the witness was frightened. A young couple camped a few hundred yards away heard the same sound outside their site with snapping branches and pacing, and both parties left the lake the next morning.

The witness and a relative were walking in dense woods when they heard large, heavy bipedal footsteps on the other side of a dirt mound. The footsteps approached to within a few feet, stopped for several minutes, then resumed and moved away. As they left the area they noticed a strong ammonia-like odor.

In summer around 1970, the witness and a friend were walking on an old dirt road through dense forest. About 50 feet ahead they heard a loud growling and screaming sound, saw trees shaking with sunlight breaking through the canopy, and felt the ground shake. They ran about half a mile out of the woods and the witness reported it to family that evening.
