Three people fishing from a boat along a densely vegetated shoreline heard rustling and thrashing suggesting a very large animal nearby. They then heard a very loud, chilling shrill that frightened them, prompting them to leave quickly. As they left, they continued to hear the animal moving rapidly through dense woods uphill and repeating the shrill at intervals until it was roughly a quarter to half mile away.

While biking out on the service road they hit a strong rancid smell they could not source and both felt they were being watched in still, quiet conditions.
