The witness hiked into public land to bowhunt deer from a climber stand. After the woods went silent he heard two wood knocks, then saw a black bipedal figure through timber that vanished. Moments later a very large jet-black wolf-like animal appeared nearby staring at him, stalked toward a cedar thicket and disappeared. While hiking out he heard a deep scream-howl, panicked and ran to his truck and avoided the woods for the rest of deer season.
Solo female backpacker reports sasquatch vocals and knocks at 3am at Timothy Lake, 18mi S of Mt. Hood
The witness was backpacking around Timothy Lake and sleeping in a tent. Around 3 a.m. on two nights, the witness heard loud repeated howl-like yells from across the lake that lasted several minutes. On the second night, immediately after the vocalizations ended, the witness heard a loud wood knock from nearby to the south.
Wood knock near Curtis/Germfask, Michigan (2022)
The witness was staying five nights in a lakeside cabin in February with heavy snow. On three consecutive nights around 10 p.m., after stepping outside for a cigarette, the witness heard a very loud knock in the woods, often followed shortly by more distant knocks. Nothing was seen and the witness remained uncertain what caused the sounds.

After moving to western Pennsylvania, the witness took his dog for a hike on Quarry Trail in Linn Run State Park. Something paced him in thick hillside brush, stopping when he stopped, followed by two tree knocks and a loud deep scream from further up. On the return the dog acted alarmed, watching the brush behind him until they reached a rock outcropping and left. A researcher later visited the same area and photographed a bare human-like footprint and overturned rocks.

The witness arrived before daylight to deer hunt from a ground blind near a road above a steep slope. From inside the blind he heard coyotes, then hollering, rock-banging or wood-knock sounds, and whoops as something ran up the slope, crossed the road, and stopped in thick brush behind him. He then heard loud raspy breathing and growling and smelled a strong obnoxious odor for about five minutes before the animal ran away along the treeline and the woods went quiet.
Knocks returned in the afternoon while hiking at Loew Lake
The witness and a relative hiked for about two hours looking for Sasquatch sign and photographed two possible stick structures. While heading back, the witness struck a stick to make wood knocks and heard replies that matched his signals, first one knock, then three, then rapid knocking. He answered with rapid knocks, after which the sounds stopped and further knocking got no response. Both individuals heard the exchange and thought it was either another person or a Sasquatch.

The witness reports ongoing nighttime disturbances at a rural home shared with a spouse. Strange noises begin at dusk and continue through the night, with knocking, dragging and loud thumps on the house and high windows recurring every couple of months. The witnesses state they have never seen the source and no tracks have been found.

Around midnight on January 21, 2017 the witness was making calls from the front porch and received a wood knock response from across the street, which drew the dog into the woods. When the dog went quiet the witness entered the woods, beat on an oak and shouted for the dog, then heard knocks, chest-beating, howls, a bluff charge and a tree pushed over while seeing eyeshine. After the witness told the entity to back away, the dog returned and they went home.
Campers hear possible night-time responses near Aeneas Valley Road
The witness was camping with a group on a friend's undeveloped property and spent two nights riding ATVs to a remote spot to try imitation yells and tree knocks for fun. The group reported hearing responding knocks, high-pitched vocalizations, loud grunt-like growls from in front and behind, and a very loud tree-breaking sound, all from about 75 to 300 yards away. Nothing was ever seen, and the group left the hillside quickly after the close growls, later listening from camp.

The witness was stealth camping alone in woods near town. Late at night a powerful foul odor filled the tent, followed by bipedal footsteps circling the tent, breathing and sniffing at the tarp. After the witness shouted, the visitor growled, walked away on two feet, and wood-on-wood knocks were heard as the odor faded. The witness left the area the next morning.

Six people hiked up a forest road at night to revisit the witness's prior sighting area. After making knocks and whoop calls, they reported hearing a return knock, whoops, a guttural grumble and a moan, and seeing multiple eye-shines. Later in a quarry area they reported watching a human-like figure in night-vision goggles that crouched when noticed, followed by a rock thrown nearby, after which they left.

A couple watching movies in a barn heard prolonged loud splashing along a nearby lake shore that stopped when a flashlight was shone toward it and then resumed in a different spot. They felt uneasy and left for the night. The next morning the wife found a very large human-like footprint with partial prints on the shore and kept a broken cast of it.

In the early afternoon the witness and companions were walking down an old logging road when they heard strange whistling, gurgling pig-like sounds and trees shaking nearby. The witness approached to about 30 feet and saw the back of a light beige, clean-haired figure with darker face and hands holding trees, which then struck trees, turned away, and ran off on all fours while whistling continued from across the road. Companions farther away heard the whistles, thuds and thrashing but did not see the figure.

After hearing growls on two prior nights, the witness went with his son on a Friday afternoon to explore the tree line, field, and creeks southeast of the house. During the outing they noticed movement, a foul odor of rotten eggs and flesh, and then watched a large hairy biped standing about 100 feet away swaying and staring toward them. They left without running and heard two loud tree knocks after reaching the yard.

The witness claims a family group has visited a rural wooded property regularly for nearly two years, typically evenings to early mornings several times a week. Reported activity includes footprints, wood knocks, odors, vocalizations, trail and structure formation, and direct sightings with food exchange and close interactions. An investigator visited the densely brushed property, observed extensive trails and shelter-like spots, and interviewed the household about four to five individuals of different sizes.

The guest backpacked alone into the remote Sierra camp where the Sierra Sounds were recorded to see if activity continued. During the afternoon he heard a loud wood knock outside his tent, and that night he heard chatter, a barrel being banged, loud bipedal footsteps circling, and breathing right beside the tent. After a quiet interval he heard an unexplained electronic sound outside at 4 a.m. He left the next morning convinced the group was still present.

A large black figure stood up about 15 feet away on a steep downhill slope, showed agitated movements and cheek puffing, muttered and then screamed before leaving over a stump downhill. About an hour later the witness returned with two companions and all three heard pounding on trees and mumbled vocalizations before leaving.
