Shortly before midnight during a multi-camp expedition, the witness borrowed a handheld thermal imager to look for the cause of a branch break near camp. Through the imager he watched a large unclothed human-like figure partly behind a tree about 30-50 yards away for over two minutes as it moved its head, dropped to the ground, crawled and gestured, then stood motionless with its back to him. He left to get recording equipment, but the figure was gone when another researcher checked moments later.

The witness was driving westbound toward Tok with a companion while towing a trailer. The witness noticed a tall, light-colored animal standing at the treeline with its back turned, reaching up a white-bark tree with its right arm. The witness stopped the truck to get a camera, but the animal was gone by the time they exited the truck. The witness later estimated its height at over nine feet by measuring a similar tree from memory.

The witness claims that while hiking alone in cedar swampland, a hair-covered creature followed and watched him for over an hour, moving only when he moved and mimicking his crouching actions. The witness says he observed it in partial views from shadows, including its eyes and part of its face from about 30 yards behind an uprooted tree. The creature eventually disappeared near a clear-cut area after the witness waited an hour without it reappearing.

The witness was awakened by barking dogs and went out with a rifle to check the property. Something rushed past in the dark and the witness fired shots, then resupplied and smelled a strong fecal and wet-grass odor. From a rooftop perch the witness watched a tall dark figure by a school bus that looked toward him, crouched, then ran away, accompanied by strange howl-growl sounds from dogs nearby.

Two companions hiking a trail to pick berries rounded a corner and saw a tall dark furry figure about 40-50 yards ahead moving away through palmettos, with only the upper body visible. The companion reported loud thrashing and breaking vegetation while the reporting witness recalled no sound. After about half a minute they fled the area in fright.

In the early morning the witness was at a rental mobile home property with his wife to check on tenants and let dogs out. The dogs refused to leave the porch while reacting to movement in an adjacent tobacco field. The witness saw a large hunched furred figure with a rounded back in the field and a smaller figure moving away, and heard exchanging chuffing vocalizations and a distressed mewling sound from the field and from across the road near a creek. The figures moved toward tall grass and the tree line, a tree across the road shook as if climbed, a musty odor was noticed, and mashed grass trails were found the next morning.

During a daytime rock-hunting outing, the witness and her younger sister walked down a trail past a creek. Something charged toward them from a wooded hill, crashing through vegetation while emitting a terrifying howl/growl, and the witness glimpsed a black figure. Both girls fled back to their group in tears and left the area immediately.

The reporter woke about 3 a.m. and saw a tall black figure walking up the road near a street light, noticing a dead-like odor. After it passed behind trees, the reporter woke the mother and both watched its figure through trees in a ditch by the road. They described it as playing with a can or object lying by the road.

The witness and the witness's sibling returned to a friend's butcher shop property in the afternoon to cut and package smoked meat. While the witness was at a truck, the witness noticed a dark head-and-shoulder shape repeatedly peeking from behind trees across the road in a derelict yard. After the witness waved, the shape began swaying fully into and out of the opening, and a next-day reenactment suggested it was about nine feet high.
