A few days later the guest returned to the same area with his friend [name withheld]. They heard a deep growl, loud tree knocks, and heavy footsteps pacing them through thick timber. As they retreated toward the car, the guest saw a tall, dark-haired, muscular figure watching them from the treeline before it screamed and left. Both men fled in the car and the friend later cut off contact.

After a brief glimpse of something moving through camp, the group heard heavy circling footsteps at night, found campfire logs moved and the fire relit, and saw a shape run up the hillside. He looked toward the source and saw a creature kneeling like a person, which then stood, made eye contact for about 30 seconds, and ran through the woods. In late August 2012, the witness was exploring the edge of a swamp with a relative when a very heavy pine root fell from high in the air and landed nearby. The witness watched its trajectory and judged it too heavy to have been thrown by a person, noting no one should reasonably be in the swamp at that season. No creature was seen during this incident.

Two boys were gigging for fish in a shallow river at night when they heard splashing from objects thrown into the water. They shone flashlights across the river and saw an upright human-like creature bring down a dead tree into the river and move in the water. The boys fled to their cabin, and a tree not present the day before was seen in the river the next morning.

A group of firefighters waiting in a van around three in the morning felt the vehicle shoved down. They found no visible cause but later noted large handprints in dust on the van and large footprints in burned grass nearby. Photos were said to exist but have not been recovered.

The witness and her husband stopped roadside south of Seabrook to photograph scenery. The witness saw a head-and-shoulders shape between trees uphill that disappeared before she could photograph it. Shortly after, a loud impact sounding like a stone hitting the metal guardrail was heard by both, followed by a second strike as she re-entered the vehicle.
Possible sighting and rock throwing on a farm east of Edinburg
Late in the evening the witness was sitting by an outdoor fire near a pasture when she noticed a head-and-shoulders outline above tall weeds to her side and heard a slight noise from that direction. She then saw a small limestone rock rolling nearby, which alarmed her because no natural cause was apparent, and she went inside. The next morning she found sticks, corn stalks and dirt clods in the driveway but nothing explaining the shape.

A couple camping alone in a state forestry heard large movements around camp all evening. Around 2 a.m. the husband saw a tall hair-covered biped beside their SUV and illuminated it before it ran past him over a gate into the woods. Later both heard knocks and rocks striking their tent for about an hour until a large rock tore the tent roof. Next morning they found partial prints and fresh bark damage before leaving.
