The witness was sitting in his truck overnight at a wooded construction site monitoring a generator. He heard bipedal footsteps pacing in the leaves and a loud bang on a tank that he believed was a thrown rock. A tall figure stepped to the edge of the woods beside the truck, turned to face him, then walked back into the woods. He turned headlights toward the woods but saw nothing further.

They then heard extremely loud roars and saw a large bipedal creature on the hill pounding its chest before dropping to all fours and leaving. ATV rider has broad daylight encounter, rocks thrown near Marienville
The witness stopped his ATV on a forest trail to wait for a slower companion. Small rocks began striking the vehicle, and he saw a tall dark hair-covered figure about 70-90 feet away rise from a low position to standing. He watched it briefly as it stood bipedally and then stepped backward into dense woods, after which he left quickly feeling fear and nausea.

The witness and his friend camped and fished over a weekend at a remote creek below a ridge road. They experienced pebbles and rocks thrown, pacing, huffing, wood knocks, a disturbed fire pit and scattered poles. A large creature then came down the ridge into the creek, growled at them from about 20 yards, and left. A DNR officer later found prints, cast them, and called them bear tracks.

Late one night at a remote hunting camp, the witness and two companions saw a tall grayish-brown bipedal creature step onto the porch and try to kick in the front door. The creature then ran around the back of the camp and gave an extremely loud yell or scream that woke others in camp. The witness described it as walking on hind legs and having hands rather than paws.

As an eight-year-old at a two-week summer camp, the witness was lying awake in an open cabin at night after the head count. He heard footsteps circle the cabin and then saw a very tall, dark-haired, gorilla-like figure fill the open doorway and stare in for several minutes. The figure then left toward the mess area, after which the witness heard garbage cans being overturned.

He opened the door, turning on the dome light, and came face to face with a tall upright wolf-like creature snarling and drooling. Three people were sitting around a campfire late at night when they heard footsteps in the woods and a loud crash against a nearby mobile home. The reporter ran to wake a sleeping companion while the other two put out the fire. Those two companions reported seeing a large hairy man-like figure about 20 feet away, about 7-8 feet tall with red eyes, which then ran off hunched over.

The witness camped alone on his wooded property and woke at 4 a.m. to his car alarm, which had never gone off before. He fired a shot into the air, approached the car, and by the blinking lights saw a tall black figure striding away. He hid in his car with his gun until daylight and then drove out.
