Train spotters describe night time incident at Folkston Funnel (railroad junction)
Four people were train-spotting and camping by railroad tracks at night when they heard noise in brush across the tracks and saw eyeshine and a large silhouette swaying. They reported a foul odor, cats fleeing, and rocks thrown toward them from the brush direction, with impacts sparking on the tracks. One teen went inside while the remaining witnesses heard chatter and a branch snap south of the first figure, leading the witness to think two creatures were present. The witness then lit the brush and saw a tall bipedal silhouette stand before it disappeared, with no further activity over the next two nights.
Tracks in Georgia (2021)
Since about 2021 the witness reports ongoing activity around his Georgia hunting property: a deep 15-inch footprint and an 8-inch track, peanut butter jars removed without triggering trail cameras, snapped-off trees, whistles, a tater rake disappearing and reappearing, pebble-sized rocks hitting his blind, and chickens taken through a hole four feet up. The only direct sighting was last week when scanning a power line edge revealed 4-5 foot high paired red eyes that ducked behind a tree and vanished.

Two campers on a sandbar heard a loud scream, heavy bipedal footsteps and splashes in the creek after dark. When they left the tent with flashlights they saw large green eyes without visible pupils a short distance away on their path. After verbal warnings shots were fired toward the eyes, which advanced a few steps instead of fleeing, prompting the pair to call for help to leave the woods.
Unusual incident... a horseback rider's close encounter
The witness was riding a horse on a wooded dirt road at dusk when the horse became agitated. After hearing rustling and a loud scream, the witness saw eyes and then a large upright creature that lunged out and seized the saddle. Face to face with the creature, the witness clung to the horse's neck as it bolted without looking back. The saddle was later described as torn with deep gouges.
