Family members then used a spotlight to show her a figure stepping out of the light along the tree line. Over the following years the family reported repeated nighttime visits marked by forest silence, strong odor, screams and chatter, plus damage to orchard trees and garden crops.

The guest's grandfather was sitting on his vehicle eating sardines when a grayish hairy figure appeared and stared for several minutes with only slight swaying. He set the food down, left, and found it gone the next day, then left food there about every two weeks and saw the figure a few times. On the last visit he saw a large black one with a younger one, the large one shaking trees and throwing things while the young one left, after which he stopped going there.

The witness's uncle was burning grass along his pasture fence near dusk when he heard a classic wolf-like howl. Something then began beating on the side of a nearby storage trailer. He called for lights to be turned on and hurried back inside.

One late night chickens made a ruckus and a small dog refused to go out.
