Mt. McLoughlin, Black Bear Swamp - Rock is thrown, hitting tree and narrowly missing witness' girlfriend

About 4.5 to 5 years ago at Black Bear Swamp, a rock estimated at 8-10 inches was thrown toward a woman and struck a big pine trunk about 10 feet up, knocking off bark. She initially accused her companion of throwing it. They then noticed a large animal-like movement in nearby brush.

A quick ask from the person behind the Anomadex: if you allow analytics, Google Analytics shows me which places, phenomena and searches you're most curious about. That tells me which regions and sources to add next and what to make easier to find. It never sees your name or anything you send me, and nothing is set unless you say yes. Privacy
