About 4.5 to 5 years ago at Black Bear Swamp, a rock estimated at 8-10 inches was thrown toward a woman and struck a big pine trunk about 10 feet up, knocking off bark. She initially accused her companion of throwing it. They then noticed a large animal-like movement in nearby brush.
