YESTERDAY (!!!): Bigfoot knocks (from multiple creatures) near Port Townsend
While walking alone in the afternoon the witness noticed a brief skunk-like odor and then heard repetitive knocking from the woods. The witness tapped a stick on trees in patterns and heard knocks returned in the same numbers, first from one direction and later from two directions. After a much louder wood-on-wood smashing sounded nearby and the other knocks stopped, the witness left the forest quickly without seeing the source.

The witness was driving with a passenger toward a campsite in the evening when a small rock flew from the treeline and struck the hood near the windshield. The driver saw only the rock in flight, while the passenger reported seeing a large dark crouched figure at the treeline just before impact. Both occupants interpreted the rock as deliberately thrown and later photographed a small paint chip at the impact point.

Near the Hoh River they watched a tall, dark-haired biped emerge from woods on the north side, cross the road in three strides, and disappear into woods on the south side. They stopped at the crossing spot and noted dense forest with no trail.
For two nights campers are scared by loud vocalizations near Brinnon
Six people were camping together on a ridge between two rivers over Labor Day weekend. Starting early Saturday morning and continuing Saturday night into Sunday morning, they heard series of very loud roar-like vocalizations from a creek bed several hundred yards away. The sounds lasted up to 45 minutes at a time, frightened the group and a dog, and led a camper to ready a pistol. Steep terrain prevented them from investigating for tracks.

The witness was backpacking with a relative and a group at an alpine lake and went to explore the shore alone in the evening. She found many barefoot prints of different sizes that were unusually deep in mud and showed what she interpreted as a mid-tarsal break. She tested the mud firmness against her own weight, followed the prints from the water into gravel and rocks, and concluded they were not human.

On the first night of an October 2004 expedition, four participants walked a stretch of mountain road making wood knocks. They heard deep grunting sounds from the woods, then later heard two loud scream-like vocalizations from different sides of the road, one a few hundred yards away and one within about 50 yards. They stated the screams started as a low moan and rose to a high-pitched screech and were unlike any known local animal sounds.

After hearing a loud crash in brush, they ran about half a mile while hearing something running behind them. They crossed a pasture gate, stopped, and watched a large hairy bipedal figure by the gate for about 30 seconds before it turned and walked away.

The witness photographed the print with his boot for scale and later described it as about 11-12 inches long with squared-off toes. He initially dismissed it because of heavy trail traffic but submitted it years later after seeing a similar track report.

The witness was picking brush for sale near an old skid road when he heard loud growls, squeals, and brush breaking. He climbed a side hill and saw a still dark bear draped over a vine maple, then noticed a very large dark-brown biped standing about 50 feet away with its back turned. The creature turned and stared with red glowing eyes, prompting the witness to flee to his truck screaming, after which he refused to return to the woods and his crew left the area.

Late at night the witness was inside a trailer in the woods when a loud, strange bellowing was heard twice from the woods. The witness stepped outside onto the porch to listen and judged the sound came from 100 to 150 yards away and from a very large, nocturnal animal. After waiting, the witness walked up a nearby dirt road with a flashlight but found nothing.

The witness was hiking in a remote, semi-hilly wooded area when they came across large tracks in mud estimated at about 17-18 inches. They also noticed a strong unpleasant odor and found a pile of long dark brown fur on the ground near a tree. No creature itself was reported as seen.

They shouted at the figures, another rock was thrown near them downstream, and they fled on foot to their vehicle.

He realized afterward the stride and arm swing seemed unusual and compared it to the Patterson film he had seen earlier. He and his companion later checked the rocky campsite but found no tracks.
