While walking dog, man has early evening encounter not far from Canadian River
The witness was walking with a dog on a dirt road in the early evening when the dog became agitated and aggressive. The witness heard grunting and movement in nearby woods, then saw a large hair-covered biped rise from behind a fallen tree and retreat into the woods. The dog chased the creature while the witness ran home, and the dog returned later unharmed. A strong road-kill-like odor was noted around the time of the sighting.
