Man has nighttime sighting of two bipedal creatures behind his home near Mannford
The witness was outside in the driveway on a cell phone call around midnight when they noticed two dark figures moving across a moonlit field. The larger figure, estimated at 7-8 feet tall, watched the witness while walking with an apelike gait and swinging arms, accompanied by a smaller 4-5 foot figure that appeared to forage. After crouching in tall grass, both figures moved toward trees and darkness to the southwest, and a rock or object struck a nearby shed as the witness went inside.

The guest and several boys camped in a thicket below their house and hung food in a bag to keep animals away. At night the dogs panicked and fled, a foul smell arrived, and the group saw a large man-like shape standing in brush about 20 feet away by campfire light. They fled to the house, and the next day found the hung food bag torn from its rope and gone.

One night the guest joined his mother in the backyard where the family watchdog was whimpering at her feet while staring at cedar trees. He saw the same large outline standing behind a cedar tree. He estimated it at twelve to thirteen feet tall and believed it was the same animal seen before.

The guest and a friend walked up a dirt road near the earlier thicket and noticed a large hair-covered creature crouched at a cattle pond drinking with its face directly in the water rather than using hands. Both were frightened and ran to the guest's house. The guest later noted bears do not occur in that part of Oklahoma.
