A teenage visitor was outside at night preparing a fire when he noticed a large black figure moving between trees at the yard edge and watching him. He called the homeowner over thinking it was a prank, but the figure vanished when they glanced away. The family later took nighttime photos of the tree line.

The dogs chased the figure toward a barbed-wire fence then stopped and returned without any sound of impact. Years later the family reinterpreted the cape-like appearance behind the runner as possibly long hair and filed the incident as a possible Sasquatch sighting.

The witness was up late doing laundry at home when she glanced at an open window and saw the head, shoulders and upper back of a tall hairy figure walking past. The window was about six feet off the ground, leading to an initial height estimate of about seven feet, later revised to about eight feet after the window was measured.
