Possible pre-dawn approach to property outside Winston-Salem
Early in the morning the witness took the dog out to the end of the driveway before work. The dog alerted toward the treeline, then the witness heard a loud howl and wood-on-wood sounds very close and glimpsed a figure by a tree. After going back inside and leaving again, the witness heard footsteps in the dark and saw a huge dark upright figure moving along the fence and driveway by a pond, later noticing a foul odor and disturbed leaves in the area.

A child riding on a tractor with a parent at dusk reported a large hair-covered figure stepping into the tractor lights near a tobacco barn. The figure reportedly paused to look at the riders, then left the road in a single long step into adjacent woods. The parent briefly followed on foot and later searched with a hunting firearm but reported finding nothing.
