Hunter has early morning encounter 8 miles north of Riverdale
A deer hunter sat in a tree stand on a crisp clear morning while noticing a strong foul odor. While walking back along an old logging trail around 10 a.m., the hunter saw a very large upright hairy animal step onto the trail, pause and look, then calmly walk away bipedally. The hunter ran the opposite direction, dropping gear, and later returned to find no tracks but noted a freshly broken branch.

The witness was fishing alone from shore at night when a loud scream-wail was heard from behind, across the parking lot. The witness later said the sound closely matched archived whoop-howl recordings. The witness left immediately without investigating or returning to look.
Woman recalls seeing something strange cross the road while driving at dusk near Ringwood
The witness was driving home from work at dusk on Skyline Drive when rounding a bend she saw the lower portion of a hairy human-like creature crossing the road. The figure moved from the center of her lane off the roadway and into the woods in a single step. She did not see the upper body and stated it was definitely not human.
