The witness was driving slowly on a highway at dusk when a large, hairy biped ran from a treeline and leaped across the road about a car length ahead. She braked and watched it cross in one or two steps without looking toward her, noting it appeared to carry a fish. She returned home shaken and later revisited the site with her spouse but found no tracks after overnight rain.

The witness was hunting alone at dusk when a rock was thrown from the tree line. He scanned the trees with a gun-mounted light and saw a tall upright creature behind a large oak that growled and screamed, prompting him to fire at the tree. The creature fled bipedally across a meadow toward a valley. Afterwards the witness found hair and blood on the tree where the creature had stood.

The witness and a companion were fishing at the farthest of several ponds in the late afternoon. They heard repeated whoop-like vocalizations followed by loud wood-on-wood knocking from a wooded area behind a hill that blocked their view. The sounds lasted about ten minutes, after which fish began biting. The witness later said the sounds matched examples of alleged vocalizations and knocks heard online.
