Around 2am the witness was driving a coworker home when headlights revealed red eyes behind a tree. The figure peeked out with its head tilted, then turned to show its chest, arm, shoulder and legs before taking one step and vanishing. The witness described it as huge, about 7-8 feet tall with very wide shoulders and grayish hair mixed with black, and said the companion confirmed seeing it.

Through the night they reported repeated wood knocks, yells, chatter, whistles, a tree snap, and cantaloupe-sized rocks landing in the river from the ridge across from camp. They lit the camp, kept fire watch in shifts, and at dawn packed and paddled out after a final rock fell in front of them.

After moving back to Arkansas, the witness went for a solo afternoon hike on a waterfall trail in the Ozarks. The forest suddenly went completely silent and still, then he heard something pacing him in the thick woods. Looking back he filmed a pitch-black silhouette with a deer-like head and horn-like projections that was gone on his return, where vegetation was smashed flat. While bent over filming unusually large deer-like scat near the trail end, a loud close twig snap with nothing visible triggered intense fear, and he hurried to his truck and avoided the woods for about a year.

Days later she looked up to see a very tall hairy figure standing at the woods edge near the yard. She experienced fog and missing time while getting out of the pool and returning to the house.

He then heard loud raspy breathing and growling and smelled a strong obnoxious odor for about five minutes before the animal ran away along the treeline and the woods went quiet.

The witness was driving on a back road in the afternoon when she noticed a very tall gray figure near railroad tracks and high vegetation. She first thought it was a hunched person in a hooded sweat suit, but the way its arm moved made her feel it was not human. She drove to the spot where it appeared to be heading but did not see it again.

The witness and a companion arrived at a forest trailhead around noon to hike to a waterfall. After hearing an odd sniffing sound at the car, they started down the trail and saw a large brown hair-covered biped running through the woods with its arms up and dark hairless hands. As they retreated quickly to the car, something moved fast over their heads through the branches, frightening them enough to leave the area.

A large hairy creature stayed partly behind a cedar tree about 35 yards away, showing an arm, leg, foot and left side of its face. Fearing for his life, he shot it just above the knee, heard a loud scream, and watched it flee very fast; he later recovered the bullet with hair and saw blood.

The witness and a companion were wade fishing in an isolated creek when they noticed a beaver-like shape in deeper water upstream. After the witness made noise, the animal swam to the bank and rose up standing upright in chest-deep water, revealing reddish fur and long massive arms, then stared briefly before climbing a steep erosion bank with a small tree, uprooting the tree. The pair heard it crashing away through thickets and immediately left the area.

The witness was driving south with two family members at dusk when a very tall dark upright figure was seen standing at the crest of a hill by the highway. The figure crossed the road west to east and disappeared into heavy woods beyond a steep rocky drop. The driver stopped at the crossing point but could see nothing further.

The creature fled bipedally across a meadow toward a valley. Afterwards the witness found hair and blood on the tree where the creature had stood.

The witness joined relatives and local researchers for an overnight camp on a flat mountain top. Around midday he saw a tall hairy biped cross a trail and disappear into a valley with gourds. That night the group heard wood knocks and exchanged whoops and howls with something that approached to very close range, then crashed away. Later rocks were flicked at the truck and next morning a muddy hand smudge and many tracks were found.

Through the night they heard return knocks, unidentified howls and loud sigh-like sounds, and a rock landed near one of them when he stepped away from the fire. In the morning they found a line of large flat footprints that they measured and cast.

A very tall black mass rushed out of the ditch toward the driver's side of the car, causing both adults to scream and the driver to swerve to avoid impact.
