Man and wife experience intimidation behavior near Malvern
A couple parked at the end of their long driveway for a late-night walk to scout stargazing spots. Halfway up they felt watched and heard something loud running toward them through the woods. One witness fled to the car while the other stayed with a flashlight, smelling a strong foul odor and hearing repeated charges that stopped and started. After shouting and slowly backing uphill, the second witness also ran to the car and they drove to the house without ever seeing the source.
Early morning sighting by resident along Highway 7 near Bismarck
On a clear cool morning the witness stood on his property after hearing dogs bark and watched a large dark hairy animal moving east along a fence row about 50 yards away. He saw only the upper body in left-side view for 2-3 seconds as it trotted briskly without bobbing, comparing its size to a very tall heavy man. He later searched for tracks but found none because the ground was too brushy.

The witness reported hearing heavy movement near fruit trees and her husband later heard loud bipedal running and snorting behind their shop. Days later she found large and small barefoot tracks on the road in front of the house and in the yard, which she photographed and measured. Her husband and son also saw the tracks.

The witness was squirrel hunting and scouting for deer signs from the top of a small hill when they saw a large dark bipedal creature about 50 yards below following a fence row. They watched it for about 8-10 seconds before it disappeared. The witness estimated it was at least 6 to 7 feet tall, did not follow it out of fear, and a later return found no traces or tracks because the ground was very hard.
Nightime sighting by motorists on Hwy 7 North
The witness was driving with a companion when a tall furry biped crossed the highway ahead in the headlights. After driving past the crossing spot, they saw a similar-sized reddish-brown furry creature standing beside the road partly obscured by branches.
Vocalizations heard on remote piece of Arkansas property
The witness was building a shack on remote forested property and stepped onto the deck around 8 p.m. A loud, grating scream came from a ridge about 300 yards away in direct line of sight but in darkness. Startled, the witness went to the truck and found the dog curled and shaking violently enough to shake the truck, then left immediately.
Scream near Bismark, Arkansas
A few nights later the witness and a companion stepped onto the lit deck and heard the same scream from the same ridge spot, then stayed two hours hearing nothing else.
