Screams heard, creature sighted days before with dead deer over its shoulder
Account
The witness was walking in the woods with family and followed a trail of broken pines to a spot where a large bird appeared to have been plucked. Shortly after a distant train horn sounded, a loud screaming and howling vocalization was heard very close in the woods. A frightened relative in the group panicked, and the group left the woods.
