Two men see Bigfoot in Trinity Mountains
Account
Two companions hiking out of a basin with a dog saw a creature standing in manzanita brush with only its head and shoulders visible above the leaves, while the dog cowered and an awful smell was noted. After a prolonged stare the witness sensed a silent reassurance, then the companion drew a pistol and the creature turned and fled in a fast zig-zag run up and over a ridge. The witness next recalled loading gear and driving, later realizing about two hours and fifteen minutes were missing and recalling the experience only years later.
