Account
In fall 2022 the witness was on a deer stand in northeast Washington about eleven miles from Bossburg. On opening day late afternoon wood knocks rang out in the gully behind and below the stand. He returned the next two afternoons in similar weather and heard nothing similar, ruling out routine tree pops to his satisfaction.
