Rock throwing in Washington (1978)
Account
The witness hiked with two companions to a remote mountain lake and camped in a clearing that looked like bedding. In the evening rocks landed near them, followed by the sound of earth ripping and a large root ball thrown into the lake with a huge splash. The group hid in sleeping bags hearing noises all night and left early the next morning.
