Whoop near Wardensville, West Virginia
Account
On the third night of the final visit the witness made whoop calls from the deck. After about twenty minutes they heard a distant wood knock to one side and a whoop to the other, then exchanges where the sounds mimicked the witness's pattern. After an imitation call they heard a loud scream-howl described as like the Ohio Howl, followed by more back-and-forth whoops.
