Account
The witness woke in the middle of the night while sleeping on a screened porch. The dogs under the house made fearful low sounds, then a dark upright figure appeared in a break between trees with the moon behind it, turning its head side to side before dropping out of sight. An older relative dismissed it as squatters and told her to sleep.
