The guest's brother's father-in-law was driving home late at night when he stopped to help two women whose car had swerved off the road after a deer ran out followed by a dark form. While retrieving a tow rope from his truck he came face to face with a large hair-covered biped standing about thirty feet away. The creature stared, made a gurgling growl, smelled strongly, then walked into the woods breaking branches, leaving the driver badly shaken.
