Tracks near Skamania County
Account
On a separate trip the witness hiked the narrow backbone of the hills to scout elk sign. He noticed a line of small branches split at the same height every few feet running to the end of the ridge. Near where the ridge met the road he found a clear eleven-inch bare footprint preserved in soft rotted stump material where no barefoot person would plausibly be.
