Tree breaks noticed along one side of road
Account
The witness and a companion drove north from Carson toward the Ape Caves area on a day off. Over about 15 miles they noticed hundreds of broken small trees and marks on larger trees only on the right side of the road, some breaks appearing fresh, plus an area of matted vegetation. They stopped to examine the damage, found no footprints, felt uneasy, and did not see any animal.
