Strange rock stacks in the Abiqua Basin
Account
The witness explored an overgrown spur road behind a locked gate near a river in the mid-1990s. He reported finding a large rock balanced on a tall stump, about 10 to 12 piles of artistically stacked rocks, and a small shelter-like object in a cut bank measuring about 4 by 4 inches. He noted rain, no footprints, and no other signs of camping or human activity. He photographed the features for others to review.
