Fisherman sees creature in Wildcat Creek
Account
The witness was fishing and wading in a creek to get past a thicket when sensing unease and spotting a large dark shape in the water first thought to be a bear until its face was seen. A loud scream-like grunt and the sound of breaking limbs came from the side, after which the creature stood up and walked away upright while grunting and howling as a rotten foul smell hung in the air.
