Rock throwing in Oregon
Account
While hiking an overgrown switchback trail with two companions and a dog, the group had decent-sized rocks thrown in a high arc over their heads twice, hitting trees on the way down. The witness saw a bush shaking rapidly where the second rock seemed to originate and noted continuing cobwebs suggesting little recent human use. The dog turned back down the trail and the group returned to camp.
