Account
At a dark canoe-access camp, the group heard rustling and then something huge charging through brush toward them like a freight train. After the witness shouted, the crashing abruptly changed to a fast scurrying away into silence. Later while falling asleep the witness experienced an intrusive reassuring thought, became alarmed, woke a companion, and they kept watch with firewood until daylight.
Summary drafted by AI from the source report and checked by code before I publish it. The witness's own words remain with the publisher — read the original report .
