Folklore in Ohio (1820)
Account
The mother relayed local village folklore that early settlers building the cemetery found the remains of two or three giants eroding from the dirt layers on the back edge along the ridge down to the same river that crosses the farm. The bones were said to have been noted long ago and are no longer present.
