While leading a mushroom crew the caller stood on a hilltop when a roar preceded a huge biped crashing through trees to within thirty yards. It stared at him, advanced, and reared back showing block teeth when he fired over its head, then left watching him. The released dog chased it, yelped once, and was later found dead twelve feet up in a tree near demolished structures and rims.
