Witnesses heard what they described as a "roaring scream"
Account
Two witnesses were fishing from a dock near a campground in the evening when they heard a loud roaring scream from along the lake. Shortly afterward a nearby fisherman was seen fleeing the area where the sound originated. The witnesses joined him and all three ran to the campground, where he said something had been right next to him. The two original witnesses then broke camp and drove home.
