While setting an apple trap, the witness found large footprints, broken branches, and a mat of soft pine branches with large and small human-like impressions. Hearing stifled heavy breathing in a tree, the witness watched a deer freeze, stare up, and bolt. Something heavy dropped from the tree and a tall black upright figure ran into the tree line.
