Growl in Maine (1950)
Account
The guest recounts a researched story of two children about ten on the coast. A girl repeatedly invited a new boy to meet her friend, then led him by bike into woods to a large blowdown. Stomping and growling occurred as she threw potato chips over the log where a Sasquatch was present, and the frightened boy climbed a tree then fled by bike and later wrote about it.
