After moving into a house built on a Civil War battle line in Georgia, the witness woke at night to see dimly illuminated head-and-shoulder figures of two men and a woman that turned and passed through the bedroom wall. His wife said their sons had described a similar woman, seen whole, standing in the hallway. He later learned about waking-dream explanations but remained struck because others in the household reported similar figures.
