The guest says he visited a large national park in Sumatra to look for gibbons and assess poaching and deforestation. While trekking through dense forest with a local guide, both men saw something run very fast on two legs across an open grassy patch ahead. They saw a head briefly before it disappeared, and the guest notes it could not have been a small bear over that distance. He says he initially brushed the incident off despite his colleague's earlier report from the same area.
